They live within their means.
This one is a no-brainer. Spend less than you make. Try to save at least 20 percent of your income.
They are not gamblers.
Face it people, wealthy people are not consistent lottery players.
They are habitual readers.
These people are life-long learners. They read to increase their knowledge and open up new
opportunities for themselves.
They don’t spend much time watching TV
“Two-thirds of wealthy people watch less than an hour of TV a day and almost that many…spend less than an hour a day on the Internet.” On the other hand, “77 percent of those struggling financially spend an hour or more a day watching TV, and 74 percent spend an hour or more a day using the Internet recreationally.”
They are avid networkers.
Seventy-five percent of rich people are avid networks. Only 10% of those who are financially unsuccessful are avid networkers.
They set goals; broke people don’t.
Seventy percent of rich people have at least one major goal they are pursuing. Only three percent of poor people do.
They avoid procrastination.
Rich people understand that if a task should be done today then they will do it today. Don’t put off tomorrow what you should do today.
They avoid toxic relationships.
Over 85 percent of successful people associate with other successful people. Over 95 percent of broke people do not mingle with the rich.
They continually pursue their dreams.
Rich successful people never give up on their goals. Those who are not financially successful pursue their dreams through to fruition.
They have a strong belief system in place.
Wealthy people believe in themselves and their dreams/goals.
They have mentors.
If you want to be rich in the shortest amount of time, then find someone who got rich doing what you want to do.
They make their own luck.
Wealthy people have a knack for creating their own opportunities. They do not wait around for luck to come their way.
They know their purpose.
One of the biggest failures is for an individual to walk through life and not know their true purpose. Remember, if you waste your time you cannot get it back.
